The fabulosity doesn’t have to come in the form of a big, dramatic change, but a little something something might put a little pep in your step and make you feel so much better.

3. Try something new (especially if you’re open to laughing at yourself)

If you’re ready to get your power back, don’t go to the familiar, go to the unfamiliar. You’ll surprise yourself with what you’re capable of and you’ll always have those memories of when you stepped out of your comfort zone – whether you “succeeded” or “failed” to fall back on.

4. Check out your options
What I’m encouraging you to do here is a little bit of window shopping.
I remember when I was a kid from time-to-time my mom would say let’s go to the mall. We weren’t going to buy anything but just to window shop. We’d walk from store to store and look in the windows to see what was for sale.
We’d compare the offerings from store to store, and then, after we’d seen enough, we’d head back home — window shopping.
I want you to start taking a look at single guys you might potentially be interested in. I don’t want you to hook up with any of them. I just want you to get an idea of what’s out there.
This will just let you know that although your heart is hurting at the moment, life is waiting for you when you’re ready.
5. Give yourself a break
Deciding to take an intentional break from love takes so much pressure off of you and will allow you to just take it easy.
Take this time to travel, be yourself and just relax in a way you probably haven’t done in a long time.
Remember, usually the times you’re not looking are the times you’re found.
